Umang Foundation of the Blind Charitable Trust
Umang Foundation of the Blind Charitable Trust is a registered charitable organisation established with the objective of promoting the welfare, education, and rehabilitation of persons with visual impairment and other disabilities.
The Trust is committed to undertaking activities that support inclusive education, accessibility, and equal opportunities for visually impaired individuals. It works towards providing educational support, accessible learning materials, and skill development initiatives to enable beneficiaries to become self-reliant and integrated into mainstream society.
In furtherance of its objectives, the Trust undertakes the development and distribution of accessible content in formats such as Braille, audio, and digital accessible formats. The Trust also promotes spiritual and moral development by facilitating access to religious education, including the teaching of the Quran through accessible methodologies.
The Trust may establish, manage, and support residential facilities, educational centres, libraries, and other institutions necessary for the benefit and advancement of persons with visual impairment. Through such initiatives, it ensures a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for learning and personal development.
Umang Foundation of the Blind Charitable Trust operates on a non-profit basis and is dedicated to charitable purposes without discrimination of caste, creed, religion, or gender. All activities of the Trust are carried out in accordance with its stated objectives and applicable laws and regulations.
